Bruce Fraser is responsible for the oversight of financial and operational systems. Bruce qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young in New Zealand, and since then has worked for a variety of international organisations. In the last 20 years, he has been working for the CGIAR Consortium, which brings together the 15 leading Agricultural Research Centres across the world. He has been Finance Manager or Director at ISNAR (Netherlands – policies and partnerships and services), CIMMYT (Mexico – Maize and Wheat) and ICARDA (Syria – Drylands Agriculture). When the Consortium established Head Office in Montpellier, France in 2011, Bruce was appointed as Financial Advisor and established the Common Financial Guidelines that are now operated by the World’s international agricultural centres. Bruce brings to CFF not only his skills in financial areas but also his considerable hands-on experience with developing and managing a research centres, and working with international donors and partners.

    Our research activities are designed, elaborated, managed, implemented, monitored and evaluated in a manner that follows best international practice. Each project is defined in terms of its multidisciplinary requirements. Resource requirements, and their timing, provide the basis of costing each project.
